Expressive Self Portraits - Value and ContrastBlack and white drawings present unique challenges and possibilities. Students start by taking a unique self portrait with dramatic lighting during class. Students will then use white charcoal pencil on black sulfate paper to create this unique visual effect. It's all about the negative space!
